Creating
a website is the demand of the present time as
the trend is growing rapidly and every business
concern is interested in running its business
online through its website. Designing a website
is not an easy task as it is considered because
there is much more than its appearance. Here’s
how to design a good website:
First and foremost thing is to meet the requirements
of the customers related to your business. Do
an extensive research and visit other websites
of the same business. Just formatting is not enough.
Every product has a specific color that depicts
it.
When you are planning for the design of your site,
build a sitemap that is a prototyping model and
includes all the material and web pages.

You have to dig into depth the demands of users
either it is for information, entertainment or
sales purpose; it should reflect the cause of
concern at first sight to leave a good impression
upon the customers. For example, an educational
website will be different from the one related
to e-commerce, real estate, etc.
Be particular while selecting a template for your
website. You can work on layers and edit it from
time to time. The header, footer, layout, navigation
links, content and the most of these all the main
body has a significant importance. If you are
going to design your website for selling a product,
include the images of the best samples.
Next important things are the UI (User Interface),
title, logo and slogan that represent your unique
identity and copyrights. Observe the market trends
deeply and make it meaningful such like that a
person who visits it just as a bird’s eye view
becomes eager to develop interest and stay on
your web pages.
While choosing the color, font, size, border,
etc. in the CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), keep
the uniformity in your sight and do not rush anything
with the other. The content of your website should
be rich, but avoid using lengthy paragraphs. Divide
it into smaller paragraphs, use bullets or numbering
where required.
You website should be designed in such a way that
it is compatible with all the browsers because
your client can open it in google chrome, Mozilla
Firefox or explorer, etc. It must be eye catching
for people across the globe. Testing your website
after complete design is also necessary. Check
that all the links and tabs are running and active.
Once you are done with your website, it does not
mean that its design is prepared for a long period
of time. You have to change it looking at the
market conditions and to attract the targeted
audience. Apart from design, you are required
to change the content of your website as well.
Now you are in a position to bring your site forth
on the web and get a domain name. The customer’s
feedback will guide you what to add or change
onward.
